This episode shows the real fight of high level ninjas, it evens introduces the first visual art of the series. This is truly what is called a high stakes battle, the only thing that I could complain about is the episode ended in a cliff hanger 😭

The dialogue really helps ease us into more of the power mechanics in this anime. It really feels like we're in Naruto's shoes here

Solid episode overall. The new guy's character design is really distinct from Team 7, which subtly opens up the world-building too

Episode 7 of Naruto has a darker and more serious atmosphere than the earlier episodes. The tension stays high throughout, and the teamwork between Team 7 starts feeling more natural.
Short review: Suspenseful, emotional, and the first time the series truly feels intense.

Tazuna's secret changes the mission entirely and Team 7 chooses to stay anyway. Then the real threat arrives out of the mist and the atmosphere shifts completely. A tremendous tonal upgrade for the arc.

Es uno de los pocos animes que veo Dub en español, lo hace mucho más gracioso. Jajaja que forma de manipulación de Sr. Tazuna. El anime tiene buenas explicaciones en verdad. Intro de un gran personaje!!!

The journey of taking the trip proves to be a harder task. The villain's introduction - Zabuza holds out to us the plot brilliantly. The confrontation between the Jonins though feels slow but it’s only the start as everyone wants to see the acceleration in the fight scene.

Sasuke being so scared he wanted to stab himself just from the killing intent shows how dangerous Zabuza really is and the atmosphere in that mist is crazy

I was not expecting things to get this dark so fast. Sasuke actually shaking and being paralyzed by Zabuza's bloodlust was hard to watch, especially after he seemed so cool before. The water clone trade at the end was such a great twist and seeing Kakashi get the drop on him with that kunai was a really bold ending move.

When I saw Zabuza's giant sword spinning through the air, I instantly knew this fight was going to be way more serious than anything Naruto and Sasuke have faced yet. I mean, those earlier bandits were totally nothing compared to him, and it makes me wonder how they’re even going to survive this.

Tazuna really lied to them about the mission rank and now they are stuck fighting a legendary assassin for cheap

Naruto stabbing his own hand to stop the poison and make that oath was such a big moment for him and it shows he is not just some loud kid

I cannot believe Kakashi has the sharingan and how did he even get it when he is not an uchiha though and that eye reveal was so cool and he looks way stronger than I thought

I was so shocked when Kakashi lifted his headband and showed that red eye because I thought only the Uchiha clan could have that power and seeing him copy those water moves was amazing

Seeing Sasuke lose his mind over Kakashi having the Sharingan was such a good moment because it adds so much mystery to where Kakashi actually got that eye and how he uses it
