I've never seen such a slow invasion.

Episode Context

Episode 68 marks the explosive transition from the Chunin Exams into the Konoha Crush arc, arguably the most consequential shift in Naruto's first major saga. The preceding episodes established rivalries, power dynamics, and Orochimaru's lurking threat through the exam structure, this episode ignites all of those threads simultaneously. Everything that follows will center on the Hidden Leaf Village's desperate fight for survival, fundamentally altering the series' trajectory.
