Surprisingly, this episode had good dialogue for the aftermath of the fight. They executed this really well, especially Guy and Naruto's POVs

Lee standing up while he was totally out made me actually cry and he just refuses to give up on his dream

The sand armor feels cheap since Lee worked a thousand times harder than Gaara and still lost the match

That fifth gate speed was the coolest thing yet and it looks like it hurts so much

My heart broke for Lee when Guy hugged him and apologized for letting him go that far into the gates

Lee standing up after his body was already broken made the room feel heavy and Guy crying over him made everything worse

I wanted Lee to win so badly and seeing him struggle to stand while his bones were crushed is the most painful thing in this show so far

The way Guy jumped in to stop Gaara from killing Lee was the only thing that saved him and seeing how scared Gaara looked was a shock

Lee moving that fast while using the primary lotus was the highlight of the exams so far and it is tragic that it ended with him in a hospital bed. He really gave Gaara a scare for a minute there

That sand shield is way too strong and watching Lee get his arm and leg crushed was hard. Guy had to jump in because Gaara was actually trying to kill him and now the poor guy might be done

I can't believe Lee is still standing even though he is totally knocked out. Watching Guy Sensei cry while he held him made me lose it. That sand coffin looked so painful and I really hope he can recover

that sand coffin at the end was actually sickening and the silence in the arena after the fight was finished felt so heavy

Lee looked like a total beast with that red skin and the speed was crazy but Gaara is just a cheat code. That final sand burial was brutal and the look on Guy face says it all

I actually had to pause for a second because the way Lee was just bouncing around the arena after opening the fifth gate was insane, but seeing his muscles literally tearing themselves apart made it so hard to watch. Guy sensei stepping in to stop Gaara was the only thing that kept me from losing it, and that bond they have is honestly the best part of the show so far
