Kiba really should have seen it coming, but Naruto using the dog's scent against him with that transformation trick was such a low blow. It definitely changed the momentum of the whole fight.

The double transformation was actually smart and Naruto tricked Kiba into knocking out his own dog and that is the kind of chaos that makes these exams fun to watch

Hinata watching Naruto train by himself was a nice touch and it explains why she was so worried during the whole match and even offered him that ointment at the end

I feel so bad for Kiba because losing like that in front of everyone is just pure humiliation and Naruto is lucky he has that weird stamina to keep getting back up

Watching Naruto copy Sasuke's kick move for the finale was a cool detail and it shows he is actually paying attention to the people he calls his rivals

I still think Naruto got incredibly lucky with that accidental gas attack, but you have to admit his double transformation play was actually brilliant. The moment Kiba freaked out and accidentally punched Akamaru was what got me the most, even if it felt a bit mean to the dog. Hinata giving him that medicine at the end was also super sweet to see.

My brain still cannot handle that Naruto actually won by farting in Kiba's face and it is so stupid but so perfect for his character because Kiba was way too cocky about his sense of smell

Kiba got totally robbed because nobody expects a literal fart to be the turning point in a ninja duel and poor Akamaru really did not deserve to get hit like that

The way Naruto kept standing up after every hit from Kiba shows he has an insane amount of grit and he really earned that win

The fight was actually super intense until that fart happened and ruined Kiba's whole day. It is pretty cool how Naruto can be a total idiot and also really smart with how he fights

That transformation into Akamaru was such a cruel trick and it worked perfectly. Kiba got totally played by his own emotions and it was great to see Naruto finally get some respect

I am still losing it over Naruto accidentally letting one rip right when Kiba was behind him and that kid is truly the most unpredictable person in the village

Kiba is never going to live down losing to a fart after all those insults. Naruto really showed everyone that he has actual brains and those tricks were clever

Naruto winning without using any of that red fox chakra makes the win feel way more earned and Kiba just looks like a loser now
