The pacing still could've been better but pretty good fight overall! And the next fight is gonna be interesting too bc so far, the hints we got from those characters about their jutsu are close to none

I like the character exploration here as it wasn't just physical growth but it helped both Sakura and Ino's characters too on an emotional level

I thought it was cool how Sakura used her inner spirit to kick Ino out of her head and Naruto screaming his head off actually helped her wake up for once

Ino cutting her hair just like Sakura did in the forest was a nice detail and it shows how much they still influence each other even when they are fighting

The mind transfer jutsu seems extremely risky because Ino just stands there like a statue while her spirit is gone and it almost cost her everything against Sakura

My heart sank when Ino almost took over but Sakura has that hidden strength and her inner self is actually terrifying when she gets going

the fact they went right back to arguing over sasuke the second the match was over made the whole emotional growth part of the fight feel totally pointless

The match ending in a double knockout felt like a bit of a letdown but it makes sense since they have been rivals since they were little kids

Naruto's loud mouth actually served a purpose for once, helping Sakura find her resolve when Ino had her trapped in that mind jutsu and it was a solid moment for Team 7

Cutting her long hair and stepping out of Ino's shadow made this match special and her chakra control is actually kind of insane compared to everyone else

the draw was such a weak way to end their rivalry and it basically made the whole episode feel like a waste of time since neither moved on
