Let's see what happens next.

On top of the snake lady being so ominuous and Anko being shaken up by it, the action sequences here are too awesome!

Episode Context

Sitting in the thick of the Chunin Exams' Forest of Death phase, this episode escalates the danger far beyond what earlier exam episodes established, shifting from survival challenges to a genuinely life-threatening confrontation. Episodes 24-28 built the tension by introducing the forest's dangers and a mysterious Grass ninja; episode 29 is where that pressure detonates. What happens here directly shapes Team 7's trajectory for the remainder of the Chunin Exams arc and plants seeds for character developments that pay off across dozens of episodes to come.
