Can I just say that the opening music video was designed so well! It gets you hyped with the new characters too on top of the fire soundtrack

Didn't expect a filler this early, but the dialogue and variety made it fun! Also Asian Kung Fu Generation is so cool!

I actually didn't mind the interview style since seeing the different perspectives made the old scenes feel a bit fresher but I still wish we got to the actual forest. The way Naruto tried to act like a total boss while the kids were recording him was hilarious. It was a nice break before the serious stuff starts happening.

It is pretty annoying when a show stops the momentum for a recap, especially since the first stage of the exams just finished and everyone was hyped for the forest of death

konohamaru and his little crew trying to be reporters while everyone is stressed about the chunin exams provided some good laughs before the real danger starts

i was so ready to see them start the second exam and then they hit me with a recap episode out of nowhere which felt like a total tease after that last cliffhanger

sakura barely even mentioned the missions and just talked about sasuke and kakashi the whole time which is exactly what you would expect from her at this point

the new opening song is such a huge step up and it makes you want to jump right into the forest of death even if the actual episode was just a bunch of memories

watching sasuke lose his mind trying to correct all of naruto's lies during the interview was easily the funniest part of the whole thing

The new ending song is quite good, and I liked how they used the interviews to remind us of everything Team 7 has been through before things get serious

that new Asian Kung-Fu Generation song for the opening is so good and seeing Naruto try to make himself look better than Sasuke during the interview was actually pretty funny

haruka kanata is a great opening and the visuals in it are way better than the actual clips they used for the recap

I thought Naruto lying through his teeth to Konohamaru and the kids about his skills was entertaining for a recap episode

I actually liked the interview segments because the banter between Sasuke and Naruto as they argue over what really happened was pretty funny, even if the clips are recycled footage.

Watching Naruto fail his jutsu right after bragging to the kids about how no one can match him had me laughing and his paranoia is hilarious

nothing actually happened this week and seeing the Land of Waves stuff again so soon is boring

It was a nice break from the tension of the exams, and Naruto's delusional version of their past missions made me laugh
