Itachi looks like he is carrying the weight of the world and his interaction with the father feels so tense for no reason

Seeing Itachi act so cold toward the clan and his father makes me think there is way more to the massacre than we know right now

Sasuke's absolute grit, practicing that fireball jutsu until his hands were blistered and raw, all just for a single nod from his father, was truly heartbreaking to witness. I just can't shake the feeling that this early, desperate quest for validation molded him into the complex character we know later on.

Watching Fugaku finally acknowledge his son after he mastered the fireball was actually kind of sad, especially since you know what happens to the clan later.

My heart broke when Sasuke asked if his dad only cared about Itachi because that kind of rejection stays with a kid forever

The Uchiha crest, fractured and falling apart in that flashback, just made my stomach drop; I immediately felt this crushing sense of dread for Sasuke, knowing what was coming for his family's legacy. It's like the village was already doomed from the start.

I cannot believe how much Sasuke was struggling for just a tiny bit of praise and it makes his current spiral feel way more grounded because you see how he was always in the shadow of Itachi. Seeing Fugaku just walk away after that first fireball attempt was brutal and it explains why he is so obsessed with power now. Naruto needs to wake up though.

Naruto getting his face absolutely wrecked at the Valley of the End is hard to watch because he is clearly trying not to kill his best friend

That fireball jutsu landing and getting Sasuke a compliment was actually heartbreaking because his dad only cared when he acted like Itachi

That final choice by Naruto to put a scratch on the forehead protector, rather than aiming for a lethal blow, shows how much he is still holding onto their history.

The distance growing between Itachi and the rest of his family makes the Mangekyo Sharingan foreshadowing feel way more ominous

Hearing Naruto say he will break Sasuke's bones to bring him back was intense because he is clearly desperate to save his friend

Watching Sasuke train until his hands were covered in blisters shows how much pressure he was under to master that Fireball Jutsu

I really hated seeing Fugaku treat Sasuke like he was invisible compared to Itachi and it makes so much sense why he is so obsessed with power now. Naruto refusing to give up even after that brutal beating was honestly painful but that tiny mark on the forehead protector felt like a win for their friendship even if Sasuke is being a jerk.

Fugaku is such a cold father and it was painful to see him barely acknowledge that fireball jutsu until Sasuke did it perfectly
