EPISODE REVIEWS

I never thought Neji would look this beat up after seeing that spider guy find the tiny gap in his vision and now he is just bleeding out against a tree

Episode Context

Sitting deep in the Sasuke Retrieval arc, this episode follows the squad's split as each member takes on a Sound Four opponent, directly continuing from Neji's engagement established in the prior episodes. It zeroes in exclusively on Neji versus Kidōmaru, peeling away from the broader team dynamic to deliver a focused duel. The outcome here feeds directly into 'Losing is Not an Option!' (Episode 117), keeping the arc's momentum as the retrieval mission grows increasingly desperate.
