EPISODE REVIEWS

Could Neji really be next? My gut says this spider guy is even more twisted than the sound ninja from before, and after Choji's near-death experience, I'm just praying Neji pulls through.

Those disgusting spider webs made for a cool fight because Neji standing his ground shows how much he actually cares about the mission now

Episode Context

Sitting deep in the Sasuke Retrieval Mission arc, Episode 115 follows the retrieval team splitting off to handle individual Sound Four opponents, a pattern established in the episodes prior. Neji's confrontation with Kidōmaru is one of the arc's defining one-on-one battles, and this episode builds the foundation for its resolution while the broader mission to recover Sasuke continues to escalate around it. The stakes established here feed directly into the arc's mounting tension as each squad member faces their own do-or-die moment.
