Naruto Episode 113: Full Throttle Power! Choji, Ablaze!

Shikamaru Nara smiles, placing his trust in Chouji Akimichi. Chouji, in turn, inflates to a massive size with his Baika no Jutsu and unleashes a Nikudan Sensha. He smashes through Jirobo's earth prison, freeing his trapped comrades. Shikamaru praises him, affirming his value, and Chouji grins through his exhaustion.

Freed from the prison, the team faces Jirobo directly. He expresses surprise at their escape, then quickly reverts to his taunting, calling them 'trash.' Kiba Inuzuka and Naruto Uzumaki are enraged, but Shikamaru tries to keep them focused. Jirobo easily deflects Naruto's Shadow Clones and Kiba's attack, mocking their low chakra and weakness.

Shikamaru Nara realizes they cannot win a direct fight. He proposes a split, with one team holding Jirobo and the others continuing the pursuit of Sasuke. Neji Hyuga leads the pursuit. Jirobo attacks, using an earthquake technique to force them into the trees, and then hurls an enormous rock. He ambushes Shikamaru, lifting him helplessly and mocking his leadership.

Chouji Akimichi intervenes, using his partial expansion to force Jirobo to release Shikamaru Nara. He declares he will stay behind to fight alone, allowing the others to continue the mission. Naruto Uzumaki protests, but Chouji's resolve is firm. He insists his friends trust him and move forward to save Sasuke.

Chouji Akimichi gives Shikamaru Nara standard food pills for the team. Shikamaru, however, recognizes Chouji's intention to use the clan's secret, dangerous pills. A silent understanding passes between them. Shikamaru accepts the sacrifice, telling Chouji not to die and to catch up. Chouji reveals the three colored pills and swallows the green spinach pill, feeling a painful surge of chakra.

As the pursuit team advances, Neji Hyuga questions Shikamaru Nara about Chouji's mysterious pills. Shikamaru explains the Akimichi clan's secret: a conversion of body fat into immense, lethal chakra. He speaks of the strain on the body. Meanwhile, Akamaru senses Chouji's turbulent, unstable chakra from afar, indicating the severe toll the pill is already taking.

Empowered by the green pill, Chouji Akimichi matches Jirobo's strength. He wraps his body in kunai-laced ropes, transforming into a Nikudan Hari Sensha. Jirobo uses Doton: Doroku Gaeshi, raising a massive earth shield. Chouji grinds through it, surprising Jirobo and drawing blood. This brief success shows the pill's immediate effectiveness.

Jirobo activates the first level of his Cursed Seal, his power increasing dramatically. He strikes Chouji Akimichi with devastating force, sending him into a tree. Jirobo's taunts echo Chouji's past insecurities, calling him a 'waste' and claiming his friends abandoned him. Chouji lies battered, the cruel words stinging more than any physical blow.

Jirobo continues to pummel Chouji Akimichi, calling him 'garbage.' Through the pain, Chouji remembers Shikamaru Nara's unwavering belief in him. He recalls moments of shared snacks and genuine camaraderie. This memory of unconditional friendship ignites a fire within him, affirming his strength and self-worth against Jirobo's harsh words.

Chouji Akimichi reaches for the yellow curry pill, understanding the fatal risk. As he swallows it, a massive blue chakra pillar erupts around him, blowing Jirobo back. Chouji's form transforms, muscles bulging, aura visible and overwhelming. Jirobo is genuinely terrified by this new power, realizing the true danger. Chouji charges, declaring he will not let Jirobo insult his friend, and delivers a gargantuan Partial Multi-Size Technique punch, sending Jirobo flying.
