The boat fight itself had some genuinely cool parts, but gosh, I kept getting pulled out of it whenever the animation just completely tanked during the fast-paced action. It's so frustrating because it really makes me wish they'd kept a consistent quality, especially when things were heating up.

I hate how Idate treats everyone like garbage and it makes it hard for me to care about this race since Naruto seems to have lost his brain cells lately. It is cool seeing those rain ninja return, but the pacing is just dragging everything out and the animation looks stiff when they are fighting on the boats

I can usually handle filler but this episode really annoyed me with how they wrote Naruto today, he acts like a total brat who cant read the room at all and the way he keeps yelling at Idate is just exhausting to sit through, the boat fight felt like it took forever and the animation was so stiff during the chase
