Episode Context

Coming off the purely comedic Episode 101 where Team 7 tried to unmask Kakashi, this episode pivots into the Land of Tea Escort Mission filler arc. Positioned roughly halfway through the 220-episode run, it fills space between major canon arcs, introducing a self-contained storyline with new characters. The episodes ahead will build on the conflicts seeded here before the series eventually returns to canon material.
