I honestly didn't expect Kankuro to be the one leading the charge so hard this episode and his puppet summons were actually impressive to watch. It is pretty rare for him to get this much focus, but seeing Crow and Black Ant and Salamander all at once made me realize how much he has improved since we saw him in the exams
