My jaw genuinely dropped watching those reanimated ninja; their grotesque, unnatural movements were deeply unsettling and truly gave me the creeps in a way few enemies in Naruto ever have. What a contrast, though, because the animation overall was surprisingly fluid and sharp, a welcome change after some of the recent canon episodes felt a little off.
