Even though some people are calling this filler, it feels pretty important for understanding the whole reincarnation cycle between the brothers. Seeing the split between Ninshu and actual Ninjutsu makes the world feel bigger, plus the way Indra lets his ego take over shows exactly how the Curse of the Uchiha got its start centuries ago. I think it makes the modern conflict more tragic.
