It is wild how much effort the animators put into this fight when the script is just another non-canon dream sequence. Seeing Sage Mode Naruto go up against the Susanoo looked incredible and the choreography was even better than some of the main arc stuff, but it just hurts me knowing that none of these character moments truly matter for the real plot

I feel like I am stuck in an infinite filler loop and finding out this whole book arc is just Tsunade dreaming was the final straw

The show keeps hitting the same notes about Naruto and Sasuke being rivals but doing it in a fake dream world takes away the impact

I could not look away from the screen during that Tailed Beast Bomb and Susanoo clash even if I knew it was all just a filler dream

The dream within a dream reveal was so annoying because it made the whole Jiraiya scroll arc feel like a waste of time

Watching Naruto and Sasuke fight again with zero stakes because it is a dream in a book in a dream is just exhausting

When the Susanoo came out, my jaw genuinely dropped at how fluid it looked. I kinda wish they saved that level of polish for an actual canon fight, it felt a little out of place for a filler.

That Yasaka Magatama looked so crisp and the animation team really went all out for this fight despite the terrible pacing of the arc

Just when I thought we were stuck in filler hell forever, seeing Naruto and Sasuke face off on that roof actually gave me chills. It instantly threw me back to their earlier clashes, and I actually started to wonder if this was finally the pivotal moment we'd been waiting for, or just another tease.

My patience was definitely running thin, but wow, I let out a huge sigh of relief when that alternate reality finally faded out. It felt like an absolute slog, and I'm ready for the real Naruto to kick back into gear now.

I seriously can't believe they made Sasori the big bad for this dream arc's finale; it just felt so out of nowhere, like the writers were just trying to squeeze in every character model they had lying around. I mean, c'mon, there had to be a more impactful choice, right?

For a moment, I was so caught up seeing Minato and Kushina together again, it almost made me forget the war, but that quick relief completely evaporated when Sasori suddenly appeared. It felt so cheap, like a lazy way to remind me this perfect dream couldn't last, and honestly, Sasuke's constant moodiness even in this ideal world just had me itching to snap back to the actual fight.

Against that massive puppet, I actually felt a genuine warmth seeing Team 7 back in action, it brought back so many memories of how they used to fight together. But then Sasuke just had to open his mouth about his own plans, and honestly, it just makes me worried we'll never see him fully commit to the group again, always off on his own mysterious path.

What even *was* that happy Uchiha sequence? My brain just couldn't reconcile that alternate reality with the gut-wrenching tragedy I remember from Itachi's true story; it honestly made me feel a bit sick to see it played out so differently, knowing the immense pain everyone actually went through.

Sasuke just agreeing to come back after Naruto's puppet fight plea felt so off to me; I mean, after all his talk about revenge and the path he's been on, it feels like it cheapens everything he's gone through. Was it really that easy to just undo years of darkness, or am I missing something about his true feelings?

Sasori bringing out what felt like a hundred puppets to fight actual Kages and other Akatsuki all at once just made me blink a few times. I honestly struggled to reconcile that with how strong I've always perceived him to be, wondering if maybe he had some hidden power-up we never saw.

Ugh, I'm seriously so over being stuck in Tsunade's dream, especially when this whole fake war just feels like a pointless distraction from what's actually happening. It's hard to care about any of these battles when I know it's not real and everyone’s safe in there.

When Minato and Jiraiya just popped up chilling during Naruto and Sasuke's puppet fight, I was so confused. It felt like a massive spoiler for their future reunion and honestly, it kinda pulled me out of the action because what was even the point of that awkward scene?

Did anyone else feel that alternate Sasuke and Naruto fight in the filler just… wasn't necessary? I remember being so hyped for their real final battle, but this early glimpse weirdly made the actual clash feel less special, like I’d already seen the highlights before the main event. It totally robbed it of its full dramatic punch for me.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 450 wraps up the extended 'Jiraiya Ninja Scrolls' filler arc, an alternate-timeline narrative set within Tsunade's Infinite Tsukuyomi dream, which followed 'The Shinobi Unite' in the previous episode. This marks a significant transition point as the series moves away from this what-if storyline and into 'Itachi's Story: Light and Darkness,' beginning with episode 451, 'Birth and Death.' With 50 episodes remaining in the full 500-episode run, the series is entering its final stretch toward the conclusion of the Fourth Great Ninja War.
