Watching the Fourth Hokage and his son fight together is something that seemed impossible for so long and seeing their teamwork in action shows how much they actually connect

My eyes got so watery when Kushina started her speech to baby Naruto and I just wanted to hug him because he has been through way too much for one person

Minato blaming himself for not knowing it was Obito under that mask back then makes the whole situation even more tragic and he looks so broken up about it

Seeing the flashback to the day the Nine-Tails attacked and hearing those parting words from his mom again makes the current fight with his dad feel so much heavier

Naruto and Minato linking up their chakra like that made the whole war arc feel worth it and Minato looked so proud of him

That flashback to Kushina and Minato sacrificing themselves to seal Kurama into their newborn son still hurts just as bad as when we first saw it on screen

Obito is becoming such a terrifying threat as the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, but Naruto staying so positive even with all that power in front of him is what makes people follow him

I think the new opening Silhouette by KANA-BOON fits the mood of the war arc perfectly and it made me feel so pumped before the episode even started

I felt so bad for Minato when he was thinking back to Kushina and the Nine Tails attack while fighting next to his son on his birthday

Obito is starting to feel way too strong for anyone to actually beat and the power scaling is getting a bit out of hand even with Minato and Naruto finally working together

The contrast between Naruto being born in chaos and him now standing as the one person who can save everyone while fighting next to his dad makes his current resolve mean so much more

I cannot believe how far we have come to reach 600 episodes and this was such a great way to mark that milestone. Seeing Minato and Naruto stand side by side while they face off against the Ten-Tails version of Obito felt like everything coming full circle, especially because it is so sad hearing Minato talk about how he regrets not stopping the masked man years ago

Minato and Naruto finally fighting Obito together just gave me chills; I'd been waiting for a moment like that for ages, especially seeing them move so perfectly in sync. It was incredible to witness that father-son teamwork after everything they've both been through, making me wonder if Minato felt the full weight of that lost time in the heat of battle.

Minato claiming he was out of chakra while his Tailed Beast cloak was still blazing had me seriously scratching my head, like, how does that even work? But honestly, seeing him finally fighting beside Naruto, after everything they've been through and all the pain, made that little detail completely vanish from my mind because I just felt this overwhelming wave of emotion for them both.

It’s Naruto’s actual birthday, and he's fighting alongside his dad, Minato, who’s back from the dead – that really hit me as a full-circle moment, even if it’s under dire circumstances. I can only imagine the pride Minato felt watching his son, the one he gave everything for, not just survive but lead the charge with that insane plan for the Jubi bombs.

When those barriers exploded, I genuinely believed it was all over for them, sending a real shock through me. But Naruto, managing to connect his chakra with the entire Allied Shinobi Forces just so Minato could zip everyone to safety, made me realize just how much he's grown, a far cry from the kid who struggled with even a basic clone jutsu.

Oh man, my heart totally skipped a beat when that new Silhouette opening kicked in, especially with KANA-BOON coming back! It just felt like such a massive payoff, like we've really been through so much with Naruto to finally hit the 600th episode mark and get this awesome opening as a celebration.

I swear for a split second there, I saw Sasuke with Madara's eyes and it threw me off completely, but honestly, the whole fight with Obito was so utterly wild and relentless that I couldn't even dwell on it. That battle just kept ratcheting up the tension, reminding me how desperate everyone is to stop him.

When Minato finally put the pieces together about Obito, my stomach dropped seeing the weight of that realization hit him; it's just devastating to think about all the tragedy he now knows he could have stopped if he'd only peered a little closer back then. I can't imagine carrying that kind of burden, realizing your own past failure led to so much destruction.

I just loved seeing Tobirama get all grumpy about Naruto being a total natural with the Shadow Clones, especially since *he* invented it, haha. It felt like a real moment of grudging respect, like even he couldn't deny Naruto's talent, which honestly made me so proud of our boy.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly after 'An Opening,' where the Allied Shinobi Forces carved out a tactical edge against Obito, this episode capitalizes on that momentum by deepening Naruto's personal stakes and his bond with Minato in the middle of war. It serves as a critical emotional anchor point in the Fourth Great Ninja War arc, situated roughly three-quarters through Shippuden's 500-episode run. The episode bridges directly into 'The Divine Tree,' escalating the threat as Obito's plans enter their next dangerous phase.
