Hiruzen just lets Danzo do whatever he wants and it makes the Third Hokage look so pathetic and weak for allowing the Foundation to treat kids like tools

Episode Context

Picking up directly after 'The Targeted Sharingan,' where Kakashi and Kinoe's conflict reached a boiling point, this episode explores the fallout of that confrontation and the choices that define both characters moving forward. It sits deep in the ANBU-focused filler stretch around episodes 349-361, serving as connective tissue between escalating tensions and the upcoming 'An Uchiha ANBU,' which broadens the scope to the squad's internal politics and new arrivals. For viewers following this arc, it's a pivotal character bridge rather than a standalone detour.
