Kabuto's whole life just utterly shattered again when Nono couldn't even remember him after everything he did, and I'm genuinely shocked how deeply that final betrayal solidified his path. It really makes me understand why he clung to Orochimaru so desperately, looking for any sense of purpose after Danzo had already broken him. I never thought I'd feel this much empathy for him, but this episode laid out his tragedy so bare.
