EPISODE REVIEWS

Naruto was already bloated enough with flashbacks but this weather boy filler is easily the worst thing to air in months and skipping to the next canon episode is the only option

Episode Context

Positioned deep within the Fourth Great Ninja War stretch of Shippuden, this filler episode follows 'The Old Master and the Dragon's Eye,' which spotlighted Might Guy in a standalone encounter, and directly precedes 'The Sad Sun Shower,' where the mysterious weather-controlling boy's identity and backstory receive fuller exploration. It functions as the opening chapter of a brief character-driven filler arc that pauses the main war storyline to revisit the personal histories of several core Konoha shinobi.
