When Naruto was struggling with that barrier and the reanimated souls, my mind was screaming for some epic music to kick in and raise the stakes. Seriously, I just kept waiting for it to happen, and when it never did, I felt a strange sense of deflation; it totally took away from what should've been a really tense and dramatic moment, leaving me oddly underwhelmed.
