Jinpachi and Kushimaru felt like such a huge letdown this episode; honestly, I was expecting so much more from legendary swordsmen and it left me wondering if they were even trying. Then the animation during Kakashi and Guy's fight was so janky it completely pulled me out of the action, which was super frustrating. But what really threw me was that random Ran flashback; it made me wonder if the show had forgotten all about Rin and her deep connection to Kakashi, which seemed like a huge oversight.
