having the clones realize they are just being used as tools changes the whole way the shadow clone jutsu feels and it is crazy how they developed actual feelings

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 230 of 500, this falls squarely within one of Shippuden's extended filler stretches between major canon arcs. It follows the similarly filler 'Eat or Die! Mushrooms from Hell!' and leads into 'The Closed Route,' continuing a run of standalone adventure episodes centered on the crew's journey. None of these episodes are required viewing for the overarching narrative, so viewers focused on canon content can safely skip ahead.
