Not much happen but knowing what's coming, its a bit sad that there were things not explored further before the final arc. Would've love if Naruto as a series explore more on side characters involvement in the main story rather than making fillers.

I can't believe Kabuto just pulled out Nagato and Itachi like that because the war is about to get way too intense and my head is spinning thinking about how the alliance even stands a chance

Episode Context

Episode 222 lands at a critical inflection point following the escalation of Akatsuki aggression that has pushed the ninja villages toward unprecedented cooperation. This is a canon bridge episode that crystallizes the political fallout of recent arcs into concrete action, shifting the narrative firmly toward Fourth Great Ninja War preparation. Everything here, the alliances, the strategies, the shared resolve, directly fuels the massive conflict that will dominate the coming stretch of episodes.
