The way we saw Itachi fighting with his genjutsu and the way guy was using his taijutsu was amazing.

And the fact that the Akatsuki members were so strong even thought it wasn’t even them fighting

Even Kakashi's improvement to avoid genjutsu is still not enough; even Itachi improves how he uses genjutsu too. Very balanced power comparing. And finally found the missing sand ninja who become traitor that followed Sasori.

Kakashi bringing out that Hidden Mist to mess with Itachi's Sharingan really blew my mind, I didn't think he had a play like that up his sleeve. It just goes to show me that even against an Uchiha genius, he's always got some crazy strategy brewing, which makes me respect him even more.

Finding out the Itachi and Kisame they fought were just random sand ninjas like Yura was such a weird twist, and it makes you wonder how strong the real Akatsuki members actually are

I keep thinking about how Naruto's clone got caught in the genjutsu and if that means the clone was actually feeling all that pain too. It felt so cruel seeing Sasuke and Gaara used against him like that, especially since Naruto was already struggling. The reveal that it was Yura under the mask makes the whole Akatsuki plan seem way more sinister.

My jaw was on the floor when Guy opened the sixth gate and used Morning Peacock because those fire punches were insane and Kisame didn't stand a chance against that much power

Seeing Naruto finally pull out that massive Rasengan and just flatten everything was the highlight and it shows how much he learned from Jiraiya during those years away from the village

People were joking about Guy forgetting Kisame but it makes total sense now since he was technically fighting a different guy the whole time and that Morning Peacock move was absolutely brutal

It was pretty heavy seeing Naruto shivering after that genjutsu and Sakura hitting him to wake him up felt more like she was worried than just being mean for once and it worked

The part where Naruto sees Sasuke and then Sakura starts yelling at him was actually pretty dark and you can see how much it messed him up even after he woke up from the illusion

I really thought Guy killed Kisame for a second with those high speed punches and seeing the water ripple from all that chakra was so cool

Kakashi using the Hidden Mist to mess with the Sharingan was a smart move and it felt so satisfying to see Naruto finally land that massive new Rasengan

Seeing Jiraiya and Naruto on the pier during the flashback was a nice break from the stress of Itachi messing with Naruto's head in that dark forest

That Morning Peacock attack was absolutely insane to watch but finding out it was just a body double felt like such a huge letdown after all that build up

It is wild that the Fourth Hokage left the Rasengan unfinished and now Naruto has to figure out how to put his own spin on it to honor that legacy

My heart actually sank when Chiyo realized the body was Yura from the Sand Village, because it shows how messed up the Akatsuki really are for sacrificing their own allies like that.

Watching Might Guy open the sixth gate and light up the sky with his punches was easily the coolest thing until the reveal that Kisame wasn't even there

The way Itachi caught Naruto in a genjutsu just by pointing a finger at him is actually terrifying and it shows how much of a gap there still is between them

I seriously can’t get over how brutal that genjutsu sequence felt at the start, because seeing Sasuke literally crawl out of Naruto's skin was some straight up horror movie material. It made the Big Ball Rasengan feel so much more earned, even if it turns out they were just fighting some poor guy named Yura who got used as a human puppet.

You think Guy is about to end it all with that Morning Peacock move and then it turns out he just beat up some random guy from the Sand Village instead

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 15 lands deep in the early Shippuden rescue arc, continuing the momentum built from Naruto's demonstrated growth and the team's escalating confrontation with Akatsuki forces. The previous episodes established the stakes and enemy capabilities; this one raises the tactical urgency as the team commits fully to combat. It directly bridges into 'The Secret of Jinchūriki,' where the broader implications of the Akatsuki's agenda begin to crystallize.
