My jaw just dropped realizing how Danzo and those elders cornered Itachi, practically making him slaughter his own clan to avert a wider war. It's wild to me that the 'honorable' Leaf Village could do something so absolutely horrific, it honestly makes me resent them even more than the Akatsuki at this point.
