Seeing Itachi explain the history of the Mangekyo and how you have to kill your best friend and then steal your brother's eyes is just messed up and makes the clan look cursed

Itachi is actually terrifying when he loses that calm look and starts screaming about his destiny, especially with that story about Madara and the eye stealing.

Sasuke is really holding his own against the Mangekyo with just his basic eyes and hatred, but that revelation about Madara Uchiha helping Itachi with the massacre was a total curveball.

The fight between the brothers is cool and all but the amount of flashbacks to things we already saw like ten times is really dragging the pace down for me today

I always thought there was something deeper to Itachi but after seeing him explain how the Mangekyo Sharingan works and how he wants to rip Sasuke's eyes out to get that eternal light it's hard to see him as anything but a monster and it's wild that Madara is apparently still out there somewhere after all this time too

Madara being alive and helping Itachi with the massacre is a crazy twist and the fact that he stole his own brother's eyes to stay from going blind makes the Uchiha history feel so dark

The animation on the shuriken exchange was slick but the episode felt a bit slow because of all the recaps and flashbacks to the Uchiha massacre and the stuff from the original series

The way Sasuke is using those Orochimaru powers to keep up with Itachi is so cool but my skin crawled when Itachi started talking about taking Sasuke's eyes for his own light

I still can't believe Itachi killed his parents and the whole clan just for some eye powers and a test of his strength or whatever he said and now he wants Sasuke's eyes too

I seriously can't wrap my head around Itachi admitting he helped Madara take out the whole clan, and now he's just gonna blind Sasuke for his own Mangekyo. It's such a messed-up plan, like how could he even consider doing that to his brother, even if it's for power?

I honestly can't believe how much Sasuke has grown; he's really holding his own against Itachi even without the Mangekyo Sharingan. It makes me wonder if he's always had this kind of hidden potential, just waiting for the right moment to explode.

Sasuke's whole family history is even more twisted than I thought after finding out they'd sacrifice literally anyone for those eyes. It just makes me so sick to my stomach, realizing that their pursuit of power was always steeped in such a horrible, dark tradition.

The beginning of that genjutsu battle between Itachi and Sasuke actually made me feel a little paranoid, like I was falling into the illusion right along with them. I kept trying to piece together what was real and what wasn't, really appreciating how much mental fortitude it must take to face something so disorienting.

Okay, so my jaw hit the floor hearing about how the Nine-Tails was actually controlled ages ago; I seriously had no idea that was even possible. I really held onto hope that Itachi had some super deep, good reason for everything, but after that, I'm just left wondering if he's totally gone off the rails, which honestly crushes me a little.

Unpacking the clan leader's past really gave me a whole new perspective, and I finally understood the deeper reasons behind everything that happened. But my god, the constant rehashing of information I already knew felt like a deliberate attempt to kill the pacing, leaving me practically screaming for the fight to just get moving again.

I honestly can't get over Itachi just standing there, so calmly telling Sasuke he needs his eyes to see again; it's so messed up, and I really wonder how much of that is just him putting on an act versus how much he truly believes it after everything he's done.

Woah, I totally wasn't prepared for Itachi dropping that bomb about sharingan users stealing eyes, it makes him seem even more messed up than I already thought. Hearing how Madara literally ripped out his own brother's eyes for power just makes that whole Uchiha history way darker than I ever imagined. I'm so worried for Sasuke, he's putting up a fight but it seriously feels like he's falling right into a massive trap.

When Sasuke unleashed those shuriken and wires, I couldn't help but feel a shiver, like he'd been planning this exact sequence forever. It's almost unsettling how every move he makes screams 'Itachi,' and it makes me wonder how long he's been living just for this confrontation.

Wow, learning about the first Uchiha controlling the Nine-Tails totally blew my mind; it just adds another layer of messed-up history to the whole clan massacre, making me feel even more confused about Itachi's choices.

I was absolutely floored when Itachi actually tried to take Sasuke's eyes for himself, like, after everything, I still couldn't believe it. And the way he casually brought up blindness, it just sent chills down my spine, making me wonder if he's always been this dark or if there's even more to his plan.
