I was totally struck by how easily Itachi and Kisame just *dealt* with the Four Tails, it almost felt like a warm-up for them. My jaw literally dropped watching them work together so flawlessly, which honestly makes me think their shared past runs way deeper than just being Akatsuki partners. They've gotta have some serious history to be that in sync.
