Episode Context

Coming off the Kakashi Chronicles flashback episodes, "Assemble" snaps the timeline back to the present and pivots the story toward forward momentum. This episode marks the official launchpad for the Itachi Pursuit Mission arc, positioning Sasuke, Konoha's tracking teams, and Akatsuki on an inevitable collision course. Everything here, the team formations, the strategic groundwork, feeds directly into the high-stakes confrontations that define the next stretch of episodes.
