Episode Context

Coming off Episode 8, where questions about Meimi's secret identity as Saint Tail were pushed closer to the surface, this episode continues building the cat-and-mouse tension between her and Asuka Jr. while keeping the tone fun and accessible. It sits in the early-middle stretch of the season, a period where the show is still establishing its rhythms and deepening character dynamics before the stakes escalate. Episode 10, 'You... Confessed??', follows directly and signals a meaningful shift in the relationships between Meimi, Asuka Jr., and Rina, making this episode a key piece of setup.
