Episode Context

This episode closes the two-part Mayor's Ambition storyline launched in Episode 28, where Saint Tail was falsely implicated in a theft, raising the personal cost of her vigilante identity higher than usual. Resolving that setup here resets the status quo while deepening the tension around Meimi's dual life and her complicated dynamic with Asuka Jr. At Episode 29 of 43, the series is well past its midpoint, positioning this conclusion as a bridge into the latter stretch of the season where ongoing threads around identity and pursuit are expected to intensify.
