EPISODE REVIEWS

This is a great pilot that entices me to continue watching the rest of the episodes. As it's implied from the title and poster, it combines both melancholy and comedy of slice-of-life drama. However, I don't really appreciate some gender bias bit (but it's very common in anime so I guess I'll have to take it). Overall, it's a good watch. Recommended!

The animation is pretty decent for it being a 2007 anime. The time skip honestly made the characters seem older than they actually are, and there are some pretty drastic changes so that felt a bit unrealistic. The plot doesn't seem to have established itself yet, so we wait ig.

The introduction felt generic; there wasn't anything spectacular to note, but the cliffhanger was truly something. The subtle ecchi undertones are turning me off, but I guess it's just their way to cater to their young male audience.
