EPISODE REVIEWS

More backstory on how this whole situation started, plus Akira's now in a tricky spot and has to move carefully. Balances world building with tension pretty well for episode 3.

Episode Context

Positioned early in a 12-episode run, this third episode follows directly from Akira's rescue of Amelia and uses the breathing room to introduce new character dynamics and a companion element that will likely carry forward. It serves as a transitional chapter, pivoting from the initial setup and early conflicts toward the deeper character development and expanded world-building the mid-season will demand. The lighter tone here suggests the series is laying groundwork before escalating into more significant confrontations ahead.
