In this episode, Igarashi and Takeda don’t carry the main conflict around Valentine’s Day. In fact, she makes some chocolates and gives them to Takeda, and everything goes well with it.

However, the real romantic tension here is between Sakurai and Kazama. Kazama acts weird during the whole episode after a misunderstanding, and all the emotions surrounding this day are focused on this couple.

In my opinion, I like how Sakurai and Kazama feel like the real office romance, while Igarashi and Takeda are still a couple we’re not sure are truly meant for each other.
