As the last episode, it was a bit painful to see that Igarashi still can’t completely accept her true feelings, because she deserves to be loved, yet it’s like she can’t fully process what she feels.However, this is a very human thing. It’s part of the process of growing up, acceptance, and self-love. Love is never easy, and to be loved, you need to let that love enter your heart.Unfortunately, she had to get drunk to finally let her feelings out, but you know what? It’s okay. She’s going to be okay. And Takeda will be by her side.
If last episode was the peak of the side characters, this time it features the peak of Futaba and Takeda’s relationship. It was interesting to see their first meeting together and was funny to find out their dynamic was very natural from the start. I got to admit that Igarashi’s character is one that annoys me. They should’ve renamed the series to “My Kouhai is Annoying”. Takeda is the GOAT!
The finale has everything that makes the series enjoyable; playful banter, warm friendships, as well as awkward but funny affections, and more importantly, a relaxed work atmosphere. It has a somewhat satisfying conclusion while still leaving you wanting more of these characters afterward.
