I really enjoyed how this episode shows Subaru slowly becoming more responsible for Haru. What starts as something as simple as getting her a collar turns into Subaru learning that taking care of Haru means putting her needs before his own convenience. He even has to step outside of his comfort zone and interact with other people to make sure she is okay.
