i love cats so this episode was not only relatable but so sad :( the addition of a little feline friend really adds a layer of depth to all my favourite aspects of the show; from the relationship between our two main characters to shirosaki and the cat's lore. made me cry! such wholesome storytelling!!

This is a fantastic, fuwa-fuwa, feline-themed ep 😻!! The story of an anxious creature being tamed by Shirosaki’s kind yet goofy energy is honestly a lovely way to shift away from Momose’s trauma troubles for a bit. 🥺 Though I’m certainly seeing the thematic parallels between the kitty and Momose…. LOL.

As a cat enthusiast, this heals something in me. I had the same reaction with the passengers when he said that lmao, i knew it! The genre is going south lol. This was adorable and the goofyness never fails to make me smile. The end was so heartwarming too.

Episode Context

Episode 3 slows the pace and leans fully into the warm, gentle comfort that defines this series at its best. The focus shifts away from the office and into more personal territory as Shirosaki and Momose bond over an unexpected encounter with a stray kitten. This is a quiet, tender installment, A-1 Pictures delivers soft visuals that match the emotional register perfectly. Themes of compassion, trust, and finding safety in new relationships take center stage. If you've been watching for the healing energy between Shirosaki's earnest goofiness and Momose's slowly thawing guardedness, this episode delivers exactly that in a concentrated dose. The introduction of a new small companion adds another layer of warmth. Expect minimal conflict, maximum heart, and the kind of cozy atmosphere that makes this show a standout in the slice-of-life genre.
