Aww man, so many moments in this ep that made me laugh so hard 🤣 Why do Shirosaki and Momose overshare with each other so much? And going on a lowkey date? Not that I dislike it 😏 Dear heavens, it’s two episodes in and this anime is already teasing the line between platonic and romantic LMAO.

Shirosaki and his kid version were so adorable. He’s also funny in a nonchalant way. I’m sorry but why does this feel like a date? T_T. If you watch the whole thing, you can’t blame me. And the little bit of lore was emotional for me. I feel so bad for Momose.

Episode Context

A warm, low-stakes outing episode that takes Momose and Shirosaki out of the office and into an amusement park setting. The change of scenery gives the show room to lean harder into its comedic charm, with Shirosaki's natural goofiness amplified by the playful environment. Expect gentle humor built around character reactions rather than big punchlines, this is comfort anime operating exactly as intended. The pacing is relaxed and episodic, prioritizing small moments of connection between the two leads over any plot momentum. Tonally, it sits squarely in feel-good territory, using the shared work outing to chip away at Momose's guarded demeanor. If the premiere's gentle energy worked for you, this episode doubles down on that warmth without rushing toward anything dramatic. A-1 Pictures keeps the visuals bright and inviting throughout.
