Glad Riru is have a good intention in the end (well she little distrust in the beginning, but that change quickly). I can say looks like their not just pick Miya just because she pity, but also from her personality and care for others that has been lacking on High Status Family. I can see what vision what hoping Maya to not only Kounokura Family, but also the whole High Status Family in Care for others and searching light in pure spirited way. I really like it the show not only just usual great SoL thing there.

That vintage car literally flying over back alleys had no right to go that hard and the head maid driving like a stunt driver caught everyone off guard

Seeing Teru secretly bawling her eyes out into a handkerchief until her makeup came off was everything to me she acts so cool but loves Miya so much

Episode Context

Episode 5 takes the show's gentle, low-stakes comedy out of the Kounokura household and drops Miya into the unfamiliar rhythms of an elite girls' school. The pacing is brisk and fish-out-of-water, leaning into Miya's instinct to brace for hostility in spaces where none actually exists. A forceful new classmate named Riru drives much of the comedic friction, while the emotional undercurrent stays warm and reassuring. Themes of self-worth, honest communication, and building connections beyond family give the episode some quiet substance beneath the culture-shock humor. Teru, Marika, and Arisa remain a visible support system, but the spotlight widens to let Miya find her footing on her own terms. Fans of earnest school-life comedy with an affectionate tone will feel right at home here.
