My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren't Wicked

MY NEW COMFORT ANIME!!!! This was such a beautiful anime with so many funny moments between Miya and her stepsisters and stepmother. I loved all of the characters especially her school friends 🥰 This will be another anime that I will keep watching again and again because it’s just such a cute and comforting anime and I hope we get a season 2 because this anime deserves to have another season!! Highly recommend if you want a cute slice of life with a mixture of comedy in it.

Did not expect the horror at the start is kinda true with unknow shoue sound there, Careful Girls. Anyway great final of this sweet anime with Arisa & Marisa perspetive from eps 1 such a sweet fateful moment to finally having little sister and their more happy than ever to have Miya. Also the peak of this eps is when Mami reminding Miya of the constant affection her birth mother showed her, whether in times of happiness or sadness. Such a sweet message to ending it. Really warmful anime to enjoy, Hope for some miracle this get Season 2.

Did expect to see Riru, Homare, and Takiko on same beach, well the more join more fun it is. Really Good to see Miya indirectly fixing relationship between Riru and Homare that clash with their own principle and see opening up new perspectives. Maybe we gonna see more indirectly involve with Stundet Council if this get Season 2 in the future. Overall Another great sweet eps to see, I wonder their gonna end this season.

Well that was fun sport festival. Love how their all works together to drying the field. Great to see all teams have their own rewards and even more for Miya with Student Council Trust is on high level. Anyway did expect we got to see Arisa Weight to deal with, Well she now fit as usual at the festival. Great eps to see, let's see what Mami gonna do on summer.

Pretty Okay eps to watched compared to last one. I did not expect parent visit to be so fast since just 4 eps ago, Time fly so fast huh... Anyway all running smoothly even Miya makes everyone sobbing cause how beautifully kind the poem Miya make (and honestly mine shed a tears too T_T). Did not expect Koyuki to become head of the class, but it's the process she going is either gonna mature her up to become indepedent alone OR Gonna collapse becuase of stress will end up in hospital rather than finish her first semester. Luckily Miya will force her way to help her (Well thank goodness for not Hospital Visit). Well something about Chairman of the Student body is looking at Miya seriously (whether is good or not), let's see how their all works next eps (right?). Overall Pretty good eps for Calm Before The Storm Type eps.

Miya went from the huh ehh girl to someone who can read an entire room and fix a decade old friendship in one beach day. She is not even trying and that is the wild part

No Koyuki at the beach felt wrong. I get she hates the sun but the whole crew is supposed to be together and her sister tucking her in at home just made me want her there more

The way the turquoise water shows up after that stormy childhood memory of the beach. That whole idea of a thing having more than one face is such a simple line and it landed so hard for Miya stepping into the waves

The whole joke of Homare crying because the sisters are bickering and Miya just quietly telling her to let them work it out is the funniest and smartest thing this show has pulled off

That sparkler circle at the end got me. Miya saying the little fireworks at her fingertips are just as special as the big ones sums up everything about her whole deal

Teru launching fireworks while doing backflips is the mom energy I aspire to. Super Momma earned the title this week for real

Kindness that smothers is such a real thing and I did not expect a beach episode to go there with Riru and Homare. That flashback about the interrupted childhood fights wrecked me more than it should have

Glad Riru is have a good intention in the end (well she little distrust in the beginning, but that change quickly). I can say looks like their not just pick Miya just because she pity, but also from her personality and care for others that has been lacking on High Status Family. I can see what vision what hoping Maya to not only Kounokura Family, but also the whole High Status Family in Care for others and searching light in pure spirited way. I really like it the show not only just usual great SoL thing there.

Watching one girl scrub puddles off a track with rags like it's a tournament arc finale is the funniest thing this show has done. Sadame showing up with actual ground maintenance gear had me cackling

I keep waiting for the Student Council to pull some wicked twist and they just keep being decent people. Sadame handing out assignments instead of being a schemer genuinely caught me off guard

That sprint between Marika and Sadame got real animation for a footrace between two schoolgirls. Marika losing her villainess act the second she started running was the best bit

I need a full episode of just Mami striking Kabuki poses in the rain with confetti. Her theatrical way of calming Miya down was so unhinged and so motherly at the same time. Nobody does aggressive support like the Konokura parents

The student council thinking the Konokuras are bribing parents because nobody complained is the funniest thing. They literally cannot process a family being genuinely liked. Classic rich people overthinking kindness

Hazuki confessing she was terrified of being a burden while covered in bandages and tears really got me. Then Miya figured out she was closing her eyes during jump rope and fixed it in one session. This show keeps finding new ways to make me cry

Sadame catching Miya then cradling her hand like she was made of glass broke me. That gap between her Iron Maiden council persona and that soft side is exactly why I love this show. The moment Hachi apologized made it even better.
