It's an unusual beginning for the female lead but a unique start for how the main leads interact. And It's an anime that you could not resist, but you are getting excited for the next episode.

This premiere is absolutely hilarious. The quick pacing makes the comedy even more authentic. The tone is absolutely funny, and is paired with some fluid animation, which provided the foundation for some solid character development in this episode.

Honestly, I’m only rewatching this series, but it’s just as good as I remember. Right from the very first episode, it already gives you butterflies. The male lead may be cold and reserved, but it’s those little gestures and subtle moments that make him so charming and make the romance feel even more exciting.

I love the way she acts she makes me laugh so much and is so cute

Akane’s post-breakup spiral felt way too real, especially her showing up overdressed just to prove a point. Yamada being so blunt made it awkward but funny. I liked how messy and relatable the whole situation was.

Akane starts off chasing revenge on her ex, but things shift when she meets Yamada. It sounds cliché, but it’s actually fun. Their contrast makes every scene click, and the game-world tie-in keeps it fresh. Easy watch with a solid hook.

I’m honestly surprised Yamada’s supposed to be top-tier when he’s lagging both in-game and in real life.

Can’t believe Akane’s ex ditched her for someone with DSL—and he calls himself a gamer.
