this was really an eye opener, i did not expect that the price for their power and about time mai accepted why she became partners with kagutsuchi.

Ok now we are heading to an even bleaker territory with all these reveals. And it all happened during an event that most people would assume would be a wholesome affair. Stakes a really running high right now, but endgame for it all remains unclear. Twist piling up on twists, like a "background character" suddenly turning relevant and a previous incident being a significant moment for the story, narrative is gaining pace right now and it's awesome. I am now fully invested in how things will go from now on, this is the show's best episode yet.

Probably the second time we've seen Yuuichi have horrible timing with his "jokes". Besides that, this was a really good episode. Pretty surprising reveals, good soundtracks, and it was more central to the plot. The Mikoto running around like A crazed animal gag is getting a little old, though.
