From how i remembered way way back i didn't think the story would progress this fast, Now that i have watched it again just from the second episode alot has been revealed.

The show slowed down a bit and settled for more humor this time around. I guess that works because they are trying to give some bearings to the audience like introducing characters and establishing the setting. One thing I notice is the very subtle presence of fanservice all throughout this episode, nothing jarring, but it's a curious choice. Anyway, it does seem to be mixing elements from multiple genres at once. Effective? Can't say for now, we need more lore to make the verdict. That being said, the next episode would is teasing a big moment. Let's see if the series can keep the momentum going.

I do not like the interactions between Tate and Mai at all, they're just extremely painful to witness. Mikoto's reactions, however, were either funny or wholesome. There's a decent amount of time dedicated to introducing us to various characters within the school, but a lot of them are still pretty mysterious. They're decent enough to pique my interest, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the plot unravel.
