EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

Sitting just past the midpoint of a 13-episode season, this episode arrives directly after the high-stakes combat training exercise and functions as necessary connective tissue, processing results and reshaping character dynamics before the next escalation. It bridges the early establishment arcs with the challenges still ahead, ensuring Bakugo and Midoriya's rivalry has emotional depth rather than staying purely physical. The groundwork laid here in character motivation becomes critical fuel for the season's back half.
