Awww. This episode highlights Shoto and Touya’s fight. Man, this was so good, btw. But holy—the animation was so amazing that it was really pleasing to the eyes even if it was a bit fast-paced. This episode really hit me right in the feels. 🥹

Oh, dang. This was hella GOOD! The first half was such a great setup for this banger episode. The second half was so amazing—look at all those colors and animation! That was mesmerizing and really fired things up (pun intended).

Did I cry? Yes. Absolutely. This was just too amazing. The way they pieced this episode together with backstories, inner monologues, and badass fight scenes was so smooth and never confusing. This was such a good one, honestly.

Episode Context

Coming off the chaos of Shigaraki's power escalation and the multi-front battles that defined the season's opening stretch, episode 8 marks a deliberate pivot from spectacle to something deeply personal. This is the Todoroki family reckoning the series has been building toward for multiple seasons, and it serves as a critical inflection point roughly a third of the way through Season 7. The outcome of this brother-against-brother confrontation will ripple into the remaining thirteen episodes, shaping both the emotional and strategic landscape of the war ahead.
