Dang, Shigaraki’s terrifying, what the heck? I love this episode. It was such a turning point for the story. The progression is so good that it just keeps making things more exciting!

Is it just me, or does Re-Destro sound like Sanji? Lol. Anyway, this episode really gave me chills. Shigaraki’s really something else. I kinda like how well-written his character is. Things are getting more interesting, and this episode feels VERY important for what’s coming next.

This is getting dark and serious. The fight between Shigaraki and Re-Destro was just peak. This episode was such a game changer, and learning more about Shigaraki’s backstory really added depth to his character.

Episode Context

Episode 24 continues directly from 'Tenko Shimura: Origin,' forming a two-part villain origin arc that represents the emotional climax of Season 5's back half. After spending much of the season on Joint Training and the Meta Liberation Army conflict, this episode crystallizes Shigaraki's full transformation and contextualizes everything the League has been building toward. It sets the stage for the season finale, 'The High, Deep Blue Sky,' which will pivot from this introspective darkness toward the broader consequences awaiting both heroes and villains.
