A nerve-racking ep. The first part was a heart-swooning scene where Kudo was smitten by Miyo. The latter part was pretty intense, from the abduction, Kaya's dark intentions, and the confrontation between father and son. Also, the supernatural vibes of the series were coming out.

There is finally tension creeping up in this episode. Just as Miyo is finally feeling happy with her situation, some people won't just stay silent. The next episode would definitely be something to be excited about.

Starts to shift the tone, with small tensions beginning to surface as Miyo’s happiness grows. It still feels gentle, but there’s a hint that things might not stay this way—a good pick for viewers who enjoy slow-burn romance anime.

The tension is rising! Seeing Miyo get kidnapped by her own family was so terrifying. Kaya’s jealousy is honestly out of control. I loved how Kiyoka didn't hesitate for a second to go and save her. Next one is gonna be banger.

Tension escalates expertly! Kaya's jealousy creates genuine conflict. Miyo's kidnapping is shocking and devastating. Koji's rage feels justified. Kiyoka's desperation shows his love authentically. Stakes rising dramatically with perfect suspense.

The tension starts to peak in this episode! I like how this episode shifts from a cozy romance to a high-stakes thriller. Kaya and her mother are such a evil(including Koji's father). Now I'm genuinely worried about Miyo.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 4's deepening bond through gift-giving and quiet vulnerability, Episode 5 marks the season's pivot point at nearly the halfway mark, introducing external antagonism that tests everything Miyo and Kiyoka have built. Kaya's jealousy-driven interference creates the central tension that carries forward into Episode 6, 'Determination and Thunder,' where the consequences of these disruptions come to a head. This is where the show transitions from relationship-building into relationship-defending territory.
