Finally kicks things off. Light stops holding back and starts executing his plan. The tower setup is smart; they're making it more dangerous to enter. Sasha begins to crack under pressure. It’s less action, more control, and honestly, that makes it more intense.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 9 of 12, "Kick Off" marks the transition into the season's climax. Light's revenge schemes should now be moving from preparation and smaller victories into direct confrontation with major betrayers. The preceding episodes have established his Unlimited Gacha kingdom and demonstrated his level 9999 allies' dominance, while the remaining three episodes will need to deliver the payoff fans have been building toward. This episode likely serves as the launchpad for the season's final arc of retribution.
