Again, sadly, SO many missed opportunities, especially in a romantic setting! I just wanted Kamegawa and Kannawa to lock eyes while he fixed her geta strap or while watching the fireworks at least. We only have 12 episodes in this series, the tension should be way higher by now!

We got introduce to a new girl Hotta a newbie same as Kamegawa. It's a festival episode we got Hotta and Kannawa in their cute yukata dress. I really like that they did not go to a classic love rival cliche but rather focus on interaction between senpai and kouhai.

The ending almost made me scream. They're having a significant progress in this episode and I'm all for it. Now they just have to be honest with each other about their feelings. Hope it's gonna be soon, can't take more of this slow burn.
